Academic recommendations for those considering a Biology 主要

Students with lower test scores should consult the 生物系 chair before registering for biology courses 要求 in the major. The department offers four different concentrations for completing a major in biology:
- a general option that includes a wide range of courses across the biological disciplines;
- a biomedical concentration which emphasizes cellular 和 molecular biology 和 is the 推荐 biology major concentration for pre-medical students 和 students interested in biomedical research;
- an environmental biology concentration; 和
- a health professions concentration 推荐 for those students considering 研究生uate/professional training in nursing, 医生助理, 物理治疗, 职业治疗, 以及其他与健康相关的领域.
Students with questions concerning the best option for their future plans should consult the department chair.
